HOT NEWS: Fort Bend Fire Announcement
Read about our new Director, Phil Nickel
Phil will take the lead with Fort Bend Fire as the Club Director and oversee all Program Operations. We are excited for his leadership and direct impact on the club. Phil is a native of Ohio, graduating from the University of Cincinnati with an Engineering Degree. As a Men's Volleyball player his background also lends itself to Club Volleyball and NCAA College coaching and recruiting at Division's I, II, and III. Phil has served on the NCAA Division II Region Advisory Committee, is a member of the AVCA, and served as AVCA's representative for the Assistant Coaches Committee and Co-Chaired their Professional Development Sub Committee.
After a national search for a Club Director we feel, Phil's goals will bring Fort Bend Fire to an entirely new style of competitive play. His experiences with coaching, recruiting and knowledge of volleyball are a terrific combination. Most importantly player instruction and technique are areas of Phil's expertise.
