Slaters Sports Zone

and

TEXAS GULF AAU

Slaters Sports Zone is a licensed facility to host AAU sanctioned events. AAU is one of the largest non-profit sports organizations in the United States.  AAU is dedicated exclusively to the promotion and development of amateur sports and physical fitness programs.  We are proud to be an affiliate with AAU National and Texas Gulf AAU.

Currently our facility is used to host various AAU athletic functionssuch as tournaments, Developmental Programs and practices.  Slaters Sports Zone is also home to the Fort Bend Fire Volleyball Club LLC.  Our club is a registered member of the Lone Star Region, USAV, JVA as well as a Level II member of AAU.

The Slaters Sports Zone tournament schedule is geared towards GULF AAU matches as well as USAV matches.  In our fourth year of AAU we have found many clubs like Fort Bend Fire that have dual memberships with national organizations.  This allows them to compete at various levels within the Lone Star Region and Gulf AAU.  So we welcome the opportunity to be your host on behalf of Fort Bend Fire at Slaters Sports Zone.  AAU registration is on this website as well as the upcoming tournament schedule.

Our Developmental Programs are also in tandem with AAU values.  We illustrate the importance of teamwork and a safe learning environment.  BOUNCE, SLAM and PREP Academy are just the tip of sanctioned porgrams here at Slaters Sports Zone.  Continue to check the Master Calendar for additional programs and gym operations.

Slaters Sports Zone is also a community contributor to Richmond Rosenberg Helping Hands, Ft Bend County Fair, Ft Bend County Women's Shelter, Lamar Little League and to a host of Silent Auction fundraisers within the Lamar and Fort Bend school districts.
